The 28-year old artist Attila Keczer will demonstrate several hand painting designs and techniques used by Herend since its founding. An extremely talented and versatile young artist, Mr. Keczer received the Mor Fischer College of Porcelain Making prize in 2001. He will be available to sign and personalize pieces purchased for the event, many of which are personally painted by him.
A unique collection of newly interpreted figurines will be on display at the event. The Mosaic Collection of nineteen limited edition figurines is hand painted in a "mosaic" fishnet pattern that harmoniously blends three colors originating in three different centuries: black fishnet in the 19th, butterscotch in the 20th, and chocolate in the 21st.
Other fishnet patterned figurines in unique colors such as gold on black or royal blue, lavender, orchid, platinum and turquoise will be available exclusively for purchase to those attending the event.
There will be several Herend Events leading up to the Saturday, November 8th Signing such as a Unpacking Party in September when the show pieces arrive. Don't miss... as this will be a great opportunity to make first selections of the many unique show pieces not available in the regular Herend line.
