Nielsens in Brookside has many wonderful artists represented. One of our artists, David von Braun is making plans to go back to Santa Fe this summer. So...we are having a party to give our customers a chance to be with him and his wonderful art before he leaves. Joining him and us the evening of May 3rd will be Chrissie Farrar a jewelry artist and Terri Higgs a hand painted silk artist.
I know it will be a fun time at my childhood home 3515 So. Peoria in Brookside-Tulsa. We will party from 5-8. Please join us!
I know you will enjoy meeting David, Chrissie and Terri and also enjoy the art of many other artists including Claudia Doyle! We hope to have a special party for Claudia Doyle later in the year.
David von Braun's art has a very special spiritual quality. That spirit fills the air in our Nielsens Brookside space. The space is where I was from day one... my parents lived in the back of the rented house for years before and after I was born 
and started Nielsens in the living room there. My parents later added on a large showroom in the front yard and a parking lot in the back yard. The space is much the same today. We are so happy to be home! You will love David's art. He went to The University of Tulsa and studied under the renowned Alexander Hogue. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own his art before he leaves for Santa Fe where the prices will surely skyrocket!

Chrissie Farrar of Star Dust and Imagination makes beautiful jewelry creations in hand fabricated silver, dichroic glass and beads new and vintage. Her prices are very reasonably priced and her creations are lovely as is she! Chrissie's jewelry will make great Mother's Day gifts!!! Perfect timing. Chrissie has been a favorite Nielsens' artist for over ten years! We hope she will do some demonstrating of her art at our party and on an ongoing basis in Nielsens in Brookside! She will bring a huge selection of great one of a kind jewelry.
Nielsens will welcome Terri Higgs as a new Nielsens' artist! She paints beautifully on lovely silk. Her pieces are wearable art. She will have scarves, jackets and other lovely pieces for purchase. These would also
make perfect Mother's Day gifts! I just fell in love with her art the minute I saw it. You will "feel" the spiritual quality of her pieces as well. She is a lovely person that I know you will want to meet.
